Planteria Assistant Manager
Are you an experienced retail assistant manager or supervisor with a passion for plants?
Thurrock Garden Centre are looking for a passionate, experienced assistant manager to assist the manager in overseeing the thriving Planteria department.
This role includes buying, health and safety, and managing your team to ensure customers have a wonderful shopping experience. Also includes seasonally appropriate responsibilities.
This is a permanent, full-time position over 5 days per week, including one day at the weekend, working 8.30am - 5.30pm. Flexibility is essential.
Experience of leading and managing a team is essential, with a good base knowledge of plants/horticulture.
The applicant requires strong leadership and management skills, should have an enthusiastic and positive attitude, be able to thrive in a busy and challenging environment and ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are monitored and reviewed.
Employment to commence 1st January 2025.
