At Thurrock Garden Centre, we closely follow the HTA 'Xylella Control Measures' to ensure the plants we sell are free from Xylella and other infectious diseases - Defra’s new legislation came into force on the 4th March 2021 and aims to increase control measures against Xylella fastidiosa entering Great Britain.'

We use DEFRA approved suppliers & work closely with DEFRA to ensure the plants you buy from us are free from infectious diseases. 

If you buy plants from anywhere else, please make sure you ask where the plants have come from.
