David Austin Rose Talk with Cream Tea
On Monday 9th June, from 3pm - 4:15pm, come and meet a David Austin Rose Expert here at Thurrock Garden Centre. The talk will lead you on a journey through their history and explain breeding and caring for David Austin's English Roses.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity to purchase a reduced price rose as a special offer for event attendees only. You will be given a voucher when checking in at the talk which can be redeemed until 5:30pm on Monday 9th June only.
Before the event, enjoy a cream tea which includes a fruit or plain scone, clotted cream, premium preserve and refillable standard tea or filter coffee. This is valid from 9am - 3pm on Monday 9th June and can be claimed from Woody's Restaurant Servery by showing your booking confirmation email, either digitally or printed.
Please note, this event will be held in the private event space in Woody's Restaurant.
The perfect excuse for a get together with family or friends. Perfect for horticultural & WI groups or those with an interest for gardening.

Who needs a ticket & what's included?
- Every adult attending requires an £10 ticket​. This includes a cream tea: homemade scone (choose fruit or plain,) clotted cream & jam with refillable tea or filter coffee to be redeemed from Woody's Restaurant servery between 9am and 3pm on Monday 9th June only. Also, entry to the David Austin specialist rose talk between 3pm - 4:15pm.
Please note, this is NOT an afternoon tea and does not come with finger sandwiches, savoury & sweet treats.
This is event is not suitable for children.
Please specify if you would like a plain or fruit scone. If you do not specify, a fruit scone will be provided. Please note, our kitchen is NOT a nut-free environment- any dietary requirements/ allergies should be disclosed at the time of booking.
